HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE, TO BE A DIRTY OL' MAN?

A couple weeks ago, I posted a cute little story about a dirty ol' man getting it on with some big biker's grandma. If you missed it, you can go back and read it here. Charlie over at CHARLIESBLOGGIN (another very cool blog you must visit sometime) posed a very good question in the comments section. He asked... "How old do you have to be, to be considered a dirty ol' man?" This also pertains to DOB's too (Dirty Ol' Bikers).

Well... this got me to thinkin'. Just how old does a guy have to be before he can officially obtain the DOM/ODB status? 50... 60... 70 years? I've met some pretty young DOM/ODB's in my day. Something tells me that age is just a small factor in this equation, and more emphasis should be focused on the attitude and demeanor of the prospective DOM/ODB.

DOM/ODB's have various degrees of cuteness, which plays a role in how many hotties they attract, but the star quality in any DOM/ODB is... their humor! How many times have you gone into a bar, and over in the corner is one DOM/ODB surrounded by 3 or 4 great looking ladies... and they're all laughing and having a good time like there's no tomorrow! It's cause the old dude knows how to make 'em laugh!

Your probably scratching your head right about now saying... "yeah, what's up with that?" Well, I'll tell you.

DOM/ODB's know they can catch more honeys with harmlessness than bravado! Think of the times you've overheard nice looking women talking about some DOM/ODB you know and all you hear is how "sweet" he is and how they "just love him!" If they think your harmless (that translates to... too old to get it up) than they don't have to worry about fending off unwanted advances, and they can just laugh and have a good time. Once the DOM/ODB's have established a harmless friendship, then more times than not, they can become the subject of a mission... yet to be accomplished.

Yep, you know where this is going. If the ladies think your sex life is over and done, there are some out there who just might take it on themselves to give you your last good hoorah! Now how sweet is that? It's all in how you play the game.

So I pose this question out there for all of you...

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE, TO BE A DIRTY OL' MAN / OL' DIRTY BIKER?

PIC OF THE WEEK

While we were at Angel City a few weeks ago, our pal Big Ed parked his '78 Shovel Head in front of our campsite with a For Sale sign on it. There were a few interested passersby that would stop and look and ask a few question now and then, but no offers... except one.

HOLY CRAP BATMAN... HE WANTS HOW MUCH?
We thought it was pretty funny at the time... but it was an offer he easily refused!

Hope you all had a nice Mother's Day weekend... and now it's time to move on to Monday. Have a good one everybody!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

My mom reads my blog, so this is for her...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM!

** Thanks for healing my wounds and keeping my face clean with your powerful antibacterial spit. (my mom could lick a thumb and have it swiped over my dirty face in a flash.. and Neopsorin didn't have shit on mom spit!)

** Thanks for always having cookies and cakes and other mouthwatering delights on the kitchen counter everyday after school. Betty Crocker only wished she could bake as good as my mom! (BTW... the producers of "The Biggest Loser" want to talk to you.)

** Thanks for making our home a clean and loving safe place. (I'm just sorry we never wanted to stay home in it... but thanks just the same!)

** Thanks for being my chauffeur, but... that's one job I was glad to relieve you of. (keys... please!)

**Thanks for coming to Orlando to watch me graduate from Boot Camp. (I will never forget that!)

** Thanks for loving my husband like he was one of your own. (And yes mom... even after all these years, he's still my big teddy bear!)

** Thanks for being there with me... emotionally and spiritually when I was trying so hard to become a mom myself. (We sure tried... didn't we?)

** Thanks for all the other sacrifices and heartaches I know you suffered over the years for me. I know there were many, even though you would never admit it.

But most of all...

** Thanks for being my friend! (something not all mother's and daughter's can boast about, but I'm very proud that we can!)

I wish we could laugh over lunch and go shopping at Kirkland's. (I'll never forget finding your bear!) I wish we could play our version of "Name That Tune" again using You Tube. I wish I could sit on your steps with you and talk while you take your "break".

I wish I could be with you today... so I can remind you of all the reasons why your so special to me. I know you'll understand, but that's just another fine example of your unconditional love I relish in.

I love you Mom... Thanks for everything!!

Your favorite daughter...

PIC OF THE WEEK - THE DERBY WINNERS!

Most of my regular readers know that, in addition to our regular attendance for Thunder Beach weekend in Panama City, I'm part of an elite group of women that celebrate the Kentucky Derby every year. I have lots to share with you, and for today's Pic Of The Week, I thought I'd post this years winners.

THE DERBY WINNERS!
Stella wins Best Overall with her matching Derby purse, Shooter tops us all with the Best Shoes, I earn the privilege of hosting next years party by winning the Best Hat, and the Rainmaker wins hands down with the Best Gloves. And of course congratulations also needs to go to Super Saver for taking the roses!

I had a great time as usual and I plan to bring you the whole low down... soon, but I'm tired and need to catch up on everything, including answering your comments from my Friday's Eat, Drink and be Merry post.

Have a great Monday everybody!

EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY! ANGEL CITY RALLY... PART 2

I know most of you reading this are probably thinking... "If you've been to one rally, you've been to them all." I can pretty much agree with that statement, but for us... it's all about the people. It gives us a chance to come together with our good friends and enjoy each others company. We don't get to see each other as often we would like, so using the rally as a venue for a friendly get together is just a bonus. Besides, it gives us a great excuse to... eat, drink and be merry!

EAT...
When my pal the Road Runner is in attendance, you can be sure some finger lickin' good cooking will be taking place. He had his smokers going all weekend long and the smell in our campsite was divine! We had chickens, we had ribs, we had Boston butts... enough food fit for a King, and if you don't believe me, just take a look!

My friend, Shooter made a joke the day we were packing up to leave, that we all ate so much, we'll wake up Monday morning with ear tags on! Moooooo!

DRINK...
Speaking of Shooter... here she is making our favorite treat... jello shots!
Shooter and Perfect Timing made sure we all had another plentiful batch of jello shots for that evening. We also can thank Dallas for supplying us with all the peach moonshine we could drink. Yeowsa!

... AND BE MERRY!!
And merry we were! We all had a wonderful time and we laughed just about the whole weekend! Sometimes, I think you could plop us down right in the middle of hell and we could find a way to have fun! I decided a slide show was in order to capture our amazing rally experience. Notice all the smiles!

Well, there you have it... one big happy weekend! I can't wait for next year!

Harley and I owe our friends a great big thank you for taking such good care of us for the weekend. Since we rode the bikes over to the rally site, we couldn't carry anything but ourselves and some extra duds. Our pals made sure we were covered with everything we might need and then some! Thanks guys! We really appreciate you!

Until next time... party safe and ride hard! Woo Hoo!

PIC OF THE WEEK - LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

No rally is complete without the chance for riders to show off their skills and great sense of humor with the ever popular biker games and Angel City was no different. There was fun all around and I couldn't pick just one, so I decided to devote multiple pics for today's Pic Of The Week choice. So without further ado... Let the games begin!

THE SLOW RIDE
Trying to get to the finish line... last!

THE WIENNIE BITE
This gal took that dog off the fork with ease. I hope she liked mustard!

BABY BOTTLE RACE
It seems the guys really liked this game... and I can see why! It's hard to see them in this picture, but the men were holding baby bottles with beer in them, between their legs. The first girl to empty her bottle, wins.

The winners! I guess that mustardy footlong made her really thirsty.

There were more games and contests of skill throughout the weekend, but this was all I was able to capture. I stayed pretty active during the weekend myself and didn't worry about keeping any schedule. Woo Hoo!

If you didn't catch my post yesterday, be sure and go back and take a look. Just click here... A BIG THUMBS UP! ANGEL CITY RALLY... PART 1.

Part 2 coming real soon. In the meantime... have a great Monday everybody!

A BIG THUMBS UP! ANGEL CITY RALLY... PART 1

Most of you know, my posse of pals and I met up at the Angel City Rally last weekend in Unadilla, GA. In spite of my humorous tongue in cheek Pic Of The Week sporting my handsome Angel City pole dancer, we all give this rally a big thumbs up! The event organizers and creator of Angel City went above the norm to provide a great venue for our weekend of biker revelry.

Most of the rallies I've been to are often out in a big freshly cut hay field somewhere, allowing us all to have fun without being an endangerment to the general public (who... us?). This can get tricky sometimes, maneuvering motorcycles around large choppy stalks of leftover debris, especially after the spirits begin to flow (Hence the necessary use of golf carts at the bike rally!). Here at Angel City, we were still out in the country, tucked nicely away from the less adventurous, but the facilities were far superior to some of the other venues I've experienced.

Angel City is themed after an old western town and was created just for motorcycles. The town is laid out like a crossroads with a saloon on every corner and old creaky boardwalks that lead you to several storefronts where vendors can set up shop. They had the usual leather shops, jewelry, t-shirts, and tattoo parlors along with lots of other cool bike related interests.

A blacktopped one way path, is laid out through town and around the stage in a star shape providing a large center area to stable the bikes. Even though our campsite was close enough to walk, it was fun to ride your iron horse through town at least once while you're there.

... my friend Darlin' demonstrates, as she takes a cruise through town.

The stage is strategically positioned right in the center of town with two large pavilions providing shade and picnic tables. No price gouging here folks, as food and drinks were very reasonable, and in addition to the Saloons, they had several stations setup that served, so you never had to wait in any long lines. We brought enough food and drink fit for a King, but occasionally we found ourselves "in town" without a cold one so buying one from them didn't hurt so bad.

It didn't hurt so bad for the guys to buy the rounds either... hmmm, I wonder why.

The campgrounds encircle the entire town with nicely packed dirt roads that weave throughout the different camping areas allowing movement much safer. RV parking has water and electrical hookups and the tent camping had really nice portable showers. We were very close to town, so it was extremely convenient for us to walk back and forth.

Here, at our home away from home, we had a great time just hangin' with friends and creating another chapter of awesome memories. Our decision to try this new venue (for us anyway) was a good one, as we all unanimously agreed... we will definitely be back.

Stay tuned for Part 2 and more Angel City Rally fun... I haven't even gotten to the good part yet.
