PIC OF THE WEEK - LOOK BOTH WAYS

When Harley and I are out exploring little country roads we've never been on... we often cross over small rivers and creeks. Sometimes the bridges are large and impressive, and sometimes you might not even realize it's a bridge... till you look both ways.

The bridge...

Looking left...

And looking right...
This scene may not be as impressive as some as our other bridges and rivers, but with the Glides at rest, the quiet peacefulness of nature came over me while I stood there and listened...

It reminded me of why, while riding... I always look both ways.

Have nice week everybody!

Looking both ways is something I do a lot, especially when outside of the UK and entering a road junction or walking and crossing a road, because it is easy to forget which side of the road the cars are on! After being on my current road trip in the USA for so long, and being so used to riding on the right, I think it will take me some time to get used to doing it the other way in the UK!

Looking both ways is always a good idea!

Always the cool part of the ride to nowhere.

That is what it's all about! Peace, happiness, a sore ass....what in the hell is better than that?

I was impressed by the way.

Mr. M... Thanks! I did. Hope you did too!

Gary... I look both ways almost too much. I have to really concentrate on keeping my attention on the road... and not the scenery!

Webster... Rides to nowhere... those are my favorites!

Irondad... Thanks! Simple life... simple pleasures.

mq01... your welcome! Where've you been lately?

Dave... Well... I'm impressed... that your impressed! LOL!

Bridges are one of my favorites things to ride across. I love the fact that you got to stop and enjoy it. Sometimes we can't do that cause there is a car or something avoiding us to stop and pull over. They also give me a sense of nostalgia for some reason. Bring the bridges on!

Don’t you wish you had kept the ‘Pocket Fisherman’ you had as a kid?

KT... Me too! I have had some give me little apprehension, but for the most part, I love riding over them. I slow down as much as allowable to look... both ways. LOL!

Willy... Damn! A little Alabama Sushi sure would have hit the spot. Maybe next time!
