LADY R DOES HER... ABCD's

My entry for Gary France's ABCD Contest...

Sunday, May 1st around 1:00 P.M.
Here I am, riding the centerline on CR 59, in Houston County, back in my sweet home... Alabama.

Harley and I were riding home after a great weekend with some wonderful pals at the Thunder Beach Rally down in Panama City Beach. Knowing about our little contest, when we got back across the state line, he offered to ride ahead of me and take my picture.

I thought it was a great idea, cause there I was, doing what I like to do... riding my Glide.

Good luck to everybody... May the best photo win!

Lady R

Dig it! I didn't get to take mine...I looked in the mirror and decided that my ass wasn't tight enough to do what I wanted to do. Sad!

Thanks everybody! I was tired and coming off a big rally weekend so I wasn't even sure what I was going to do. In my beautiful state, I had so many options that would have been a great backdrop for this contest, but once I realized it was to be held on the day we come home from Thunder Beach... I thought I was in trouble.

As it turned out, it couldn't have been planned any better.

Thanks to my sweet hubby for the suggestion and the shutter control. :)

Dean... well, you know me. I can't do anything without showing the goofy part of me. ;}

Dave... now you've got me wondering. I'll be watching my email!

Lady R:

I liked that Goofy shot. Thank goodness for those human remote shutter releases, and also for the idea. I liked it

I don't think it was that easy for him to ride one-handed and try to get you in the photo, perfectly centered too

This shows how much you love to ride. We all do crazy little antics on our bikes... but this is perfection! I love it!

Bobskoot... My hubby actually got off his bike and stood in the middle of the road while I rode up the centerline. I didn't think to kick my feet out until I got a lot closer to him... I'm sure glad I did!

"perfectly centered"... I've often considered entering in the "Slow Race" at rallies, because I'm pretty darn good at balancing that big girl without putting my feet down. The only reason I haven't is... just because I can do it on the street, doesn't mean I'll do it in front of a crowd. (one of these days though...)

KT... Coming up the centerline, I thought about that video "Electra Glide In Blue" where Ann Margaret (?) is in a patriotic outfit, riding a motorcycle with her booted legs kicked up in the air.
That was me! LOL!!
