I just love this big white farm house with it's lush green pasture and rain fed fish ponds. We pass by this property often, as it sits on one of our well traveled roads, Hwy 231, just south of Rockford, Alabama. I like to imagine myself living a quiet and uncomplicated life when I see this place.There are several very pretty properties canvasing the countryside in our beautiful rural Alabama. I usually don't have the opportunity to snap pictures of my viewpoint from the road, so fortunately, riding in the pillion seat Saturday gave me that chance. Hmmm... seemed like old times!

That would be a great sight to walk out into every morning with a cup of coffee. The South is just plain beautiful.
I often times find myself thinking how pretty some farm country can be while riding past.
That's been a dream o' mine for quite some time.....livin' on a huge farm somewhere far out in the country where there's no neighbors, no traffic, and especially, no KIDS! (with no forwardin' address to leave behind, either).
And even tho I know it'll never happen :-( nobody can ever take away my dream.

I spent the whole weekend riding the southwester corner of Wisconsin and was just in awe of the beautiful farms.
Ann... long story! Harley's bike is in the shop having warranty work done. Seems his transmission was headed for "catastrophic failure"... they're exact words. I told him he can ride me around or stay home... I'm going riding! LOL!
AZD... yep! sounds like my kind of mornings.
Mr. M... they just cut that hay recently and the smell was devine! ahhh!
