This beautiful gold fish pond is in Dubuque's Eagle Point Park. As a little girl, I used to play on these rocks with my cousins and friends, and imagine I was in an enchanted forest. This small gold fish pond and layers of rock steps would keep us kids entertained for hours with thoughts of fairy tales and childs play.

When I was back home recently, my youngest brother was with Harley and I when we stopped at "the pond" for a little trip down memory lane. I was recounting some of these childhood memories out loud when he laughed at me and said, "Yeah, it's a great place to get a blow job too!"

My... how things changed! LOL!!!

I hope you all had a nice 4th of July weekend. We certainly did! Have a great Monday everybody!

Very nice pic. Nothing like the smell of Poplar, fresh water and a cool breeze on your taint!

Beautiful, although it kinda lost some of the magic when the word blowjob popped up! LOL

Who says that the garden of eden no longer exists. There are millions of 'em around. You just have to look for them.

Hmmm...sounds like your brother took a bite of the apple there...or was wading in the pond when he ran across the sucker fish.

Where is this place again?!? lol.

Its a beautiful spot, obviously for all sorts of things. Little bit something for everyone it seems...

I guess it was more enchanted than you knew!

Beautiful pics.

Pappy... we laughed about that for a while. I told him I could never look at this pond the same way again. LOL!

Masterchief... You get a great view of the Mississippi River through the trees too! How's that for a boner... er, ah... bonus!

B.B... I heard music and birds singing, while I envisioned blue birds and chipmunks helping me put on my slippers, when... zzzzippppp! BLOW JOB???? WTF!

I laughed then and said, "your my little bro, you ain't supposed to know about those things!" It was his turn to laugh then!

Sorry I spoiled YOUR enchanted moment too.

Dave... knowing my brother, it could have been both! He's our crazy one. The one you can't dare to do a damn thing... cause he will!

He made me confess to him were all the (my generation) hot spots were around town, and I'm glad to say some of them are still "hot" after all these years.

KT... I would love to have this in my backyard. I can imagine relaxing with only the sounds of nature to interrupt your peace and quiet. Sounds nice... until my brother shows up! LOL!

Dean... Very much so! My brother was happy to share... and laughed at my surprise. Dork! LOL!

Sounds like it was an enchanted place for your brother, too! LOL!

I think we all have those, we just don't all share them the same, obviously, one mans dream is another mans nightmare, regardless she's someone's pain in the... you know, but, glad you had a great 4th, hate we missed y'all, AGAIN, but we'll get it together soon, and we have found a GR8 place for fun, and golf carts, Suwannee is be-u-tiful and maybe we can coordinate a trip. See ya soon!!! XOXO

Before I begin, why the hell did I have such a hard time tryin' to figure out how to "follow ya" the first time I came around here? My brain musta been in 1st gear at the time....or, probably, more like REVERSE!

Anyway, thanx for yer comment. Now I know I don't gotta feel so bad about the shit that comes flyin' outta my fingertips 'n into black 'n white (and apparently, for a good majority o' the whole darn world to get pissed off at afterwards!). I reckon I just can't help myself....its kinda like I type first, think never! LOL

But onto more semi-serious matters....that pic of the pond ya got up there? I want one of those. Just like THAT. In my own backyard. IF I had me a backyard, that is. Hell, I don't even have me a damn HOUSE o' my own anymore, so I kinda doubt the pond is gonna come any time soon.

But oh, how I can dream!

Leave it to Big Red. I bet he said that with just a bit of slobber coming out of his lower lip too... For those of you who dont know, Red has always drooled as a kid, especially when he laughed.

I was reading this, looking at the pictures, and thinking how beautiful and serene, then like the sound of a needle being dragged across an old record, Sqrrrrrrrrrrp. The B.J. was to funny! LOL

Ann... it was indeed! The funny thing about this was, when my hubby heard him say that, he turned to me and said, "hey... let's find out!" LOL! Good grief you guys!!!

Darlin... I can't believe our timing either! H and I rode two up on my bike while we were there cause his is in the shop. Seemed like old times for a while.
Suwannee sounds great! Let's go there sometime. We're thinking of riding up the Natchez Trace the middle of August. Can you do this? Let's talk. Later friend! ;)

MDJ... I agree about the pond... would love to have my own too. I reckon my hubby would like it even more, seeings how certain activities are known to happen around enchanted gold fish ponds! =:o

Bucky... LMAO! He's still such a clown! I can't say much about his slobbering... if you'll remember he has good company!

mq01... LOL! You crack me up! ;}

Mr. Motorcycle... yep. that pretty much sums up that moment! I still smile when I think of it though.
