101 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME 26 - 50

If I didn't bore you with the first 25, here are 25 more.

26. I got the Chicken Pox 2 days before my Junior year Homecoming Dance. (and I actually had a date!)

27. I never went to a prom.

28. I would love to sky dive, ride a hot air balloon, and hand glide. But I am afraid to Bungee Jump!

29. I had the privilege of eating dinner and drinking some English beer on one of Her Majesty's British Ships while I was in the Navy stationed at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico.

30. I got to live on a nice tropical island for three years. (see #29)

31. One of the ugliest, yet more significant experiences I've had was at Roosevelt Roads, when the hospital I was stationed at received many of the critically wounded during Operation Urgent Fury. I was on a triage team.

32. My favorite color is green.

33. I love raw carrots, but I hate them cooked.

34. I love movies that scare the crap out of me. ("Stir of Echos" with Kevin Bacon was the last one that got me good!)

35. I have some background in theater... I had a musical part in the Play "Oliver" when I was in the 4th grade.

36. I'm a die hard Rock and Roller, but I LOVE Patsy Cline!

37. I think golf is the most boring thing in the world.

38. My favorite sport is football. (and Nascar!)

39. I'm fascinated with big cats! Lions, tigers and jaguars, oh my! (I wish I could have one)

40. I'm a defender of all things furry! (ie... kittens, puppies, ferrets, ect...)

41. I passed out when I gave blood. (duh!)

42. I think #41 is funny because, I used to work in Oral Surgery. Lots and lots of blood. Muwahahahaha!

43. I witnessed a shooting and the cops chasing the guy while walking to a movie in San Diego. Yikes!

44. I lived in New Orleans for 18 months. (All I did was party!)

45. My mouth works faster than my brain.

46. I will humbly accept when I am wrong, but if I'm right... there are no shovels big enough to dig me out of my stance.

47. I love the smell of honeysuckle.

48. I think vampire movies are stupid.

49. I believe in ghosts and places CAN be haunted!

50. I can laugh like Woody the Wood Pecker.

You lived my tropical island dream!

I won't bungee jump either, but I recommend the hot air ballon experience!

I want to go hang gliding, but won't even think about sky diving or bungee jumping...it's the whole free-fall thing!

The only vampire movie I ever saw that I actually liked was "Salem's Lot." I was never a big David Soul fan, but I loved James Mason.

I always said I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. But, for some strange reason, I'd do it now. Bungee jumping...er...NO!

When I was on my honeymoon we did a 10 day Royal Carribbean cruise. One of the places we stopped was Grenada. I saw the fort in the harbor that they shot the piss out of. I bought rum there and to this day, it's the best I ever had. I still have whole nutmeg I got there corked up in a bottle in my spice cabinet. It's 1000 times better than store-bought.

#’s 31 & 41. A triage team member that passes out giving blood. LOL There has got to be a interesting story in there somewhere. Inquiring minds want to know!

I would love to live on a tropical island! Maybe Josh will get stationed on one for some reason :) I prefer raw to cooked carrots too, everyone I know thinks I'm weird for this! I believe in ghosts too.
I can't wait to read the rest of your list! :)

teleman001... I would love to tandem sky dive! I hope I can do it before I get too old. I'm afraid I'll like it so much, I'll want to do it again and again, so I need plenty of time! I really, really need to win the lottery!

ann... I thought about you when I wrote that one. We were living in base housing with a view of the ocean right out my front door. It was VERY nice!

mrs. rc... The free fall thing is what is so thrilling! I love the exhilarating feeling you get when your flying through the air! My samples of this so far have only come while at Six Flags! May be why I like riding motorcycles so much. I love the rush!
Except the bungee. The bungee scares me cause, I'm afraid the stretchy cord thingy is going to break, or stretch just a little tooooo far when I'm on it. SPLAT! No thanks!

Joker... You sound EXACTLY like Harley on the jumping out of a plane thing! I can't even get him to entertain the idea! LOL!

The best Rum in the world is right there! AND priced soooo low too! We could go into the liquor store and buy a GALLON of good 151 or whatever you like for, oh about $8.00. NO SH*T! Jack Daniels was a little more, maybe $15.00 for a gallon. And yes, when booze is priced like that, we bought by the gallons! LOL!

I'm not surprised about the ginger. You can fill a treasure chest with great buys while in the Caribbean.

Willy D... I know, I know. I can be a little kooky. I wish I could tell you a really cool story behind that, but truth is, blood does NOT gross me out.(I'm actually fascinated by gory things) I passed out because I did not eat before I went to give my blood, and that's a no no! So, as boring as my reason is, it's funny that I passed out, because I see blood all the time.

Connie... Maybe he can get orders to somewhere nice like that. Want to know a secret? We actually passed up order to Hawaii for Puerto Rico instead. Reason is, we wouldn't have been able to afford to have fun in Hawaii, but in P.R. we had a blast. Economy was much nicer to the sailor there.

As far as ghost stories go, the scarier the better!

masterchief... I'll be rocking in my rocking chair blaring "House of the Holy" all over the nursing home, while I look at old biker rags! LOL!

B.B... Aw. Your just being nice! LOL! This has become a bit of a challenge to come up with stuff that would be unexpected and interesting. I've got my next 25 almost ready to go.
