101 THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME 51 - 75

I can't believe all the things I'm remembering about my life, while posting this. It's kind of like "This Is Your Life", only I get to control what's revealed. LOL! I guess if your still here, that must mean you want more, so here goes...

51. My first concert ever (I was 16) was Alice Cooper's "Schools Out For Summer" Tour. It was totally awesome!

52. I was never a Bridesmaid. The only wedding I was ever in was my own.

53. When I was in Kindergarten, I told the teacher my name was really Rebecca. (Don't worry B B, I'm not a stalker, but this is true) I think the book "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" had some influence over me!

54. If I were to pick a celebrity to best describe me, it would be Carol Burnett. (or Lucille Ball!)

55. I love to sing along with Nickleback's "Rock Star". I always wanted to be a rock star too!

56. I still remember what I was doing the exact moment I heard that Elvis died.

57. I'm capable of rendering "The Look" that will make your blood run cold and paralyze you with fear. (or so I'm told anyway! Ask my pal the Beav! LOL!)

58. I 'm VERY interested in Forensic Science.

59. I'm addicted to Crime Shows. (My favorites are all the CSI's, NCIS, and Cold Case.)

60. The first dead body I ever saw that wasn't nicely dressed in a casket, was in the hospital morgue at Rosey Roads. I assisted my Doctor with identification procedures on a pilot involved in an aviation accident. Very horrific.

61. I want to be cremated when I die.

62. My favorite seafood is Lobster with lots and lots of butter!

63. I don't like to shop. I get what I need and go.

64. The biggest dog I ever had was a German Shepherd named Whiskey. 125 lbs. I miss him.

65. The littlest dog I ever had, we still have. Bandit and Joker are Papillions that each weigh 7 lbs. Big difference!

66. I would like to meet Cesar Millan one day. (The Dog Whisperer)

67. I am content to sit and watch water. The ocean, a lake, or river... it does not matter.

68. I like to paint. (Pictures... not rooms! LOL!)

69. My favorite movie of all time is still.. The Wizard of Oz!

70. I like watching storms. I could be a Storm Chaser!

71. I cry every time I hear "Amazing Grace".

72. I like the Chicago Bears.

73. I was a Girl Scout.

74. I hate guys who wear they're pants so low I see their boxers. (Geeze, my eyes!)

75. I hate girls who show off their flat stomachs. (bitches!)

To be continued...

As I was reading this, I realized there are many similarities between us, LadyR!

#55: Me too!
#68: I like to paint rooms. I'm no artist!
#69: This is one of my all-time favorite movies!
#71: Me too.
#73: Me too.And I was a Brownie. :)
#74: Yeah, I just don't get this fashion trend at all! Why do we need to see underwear? Same goes for the ladies with their jeans so low that their thongs are hanging out.
#75: Amen, Sista! Those skinny bitches!

#54: You'd have to put Woody Allen, Jack Nicholson, and Al Pacino in a blender. Maybe a dash of Bogart.

#56: I was too young. All Elvis fans should read "Needful Things" by Stephen King.

#59: Me too! It started with "Quincy," back in the 70s. Remember that? Now I really like the New Detectives and Forensic Files. Fascinating stuff.

#60: When I was 17 or 18, I saw a man get hit while crossing the street by a '74 Chevy Impala that had to be doing around 50. The guy went about 20 feet in the air, and 30 or so yards forward. One of his legs (and the poor bastard's pants) went about 50 yards. My buddy and I were the first to reach him and could do nothing but just sort of stand there, as he was all done. Horrific? Yeah.

#69: Casablanca all the way! But when I was a kid, Oz was my fave, back in the good old days when you cherished it even more because it only came on TV once a year.

#70: Yes, me too. Loved the movie "Twister."

#74: The wallet being down some place down around the back of the knee REALLY bugs me!

#75: I LOVE girls who show off their...well...you know :)

Ann... Kind of scary to know someone else out there is just like you, heh? LOL! One of these days, we'll get together. Something tells me, it would be like we already know each other. What fun we could have!

Joker... I just turned 17, and was working in a Shoe Store at the Mall when the news said Elvis died. I wasn't THAT much of an Elvis fan, but I will never forget that moment. It was kind of surreal.

I remember Quincy, and Matlock too.
They were the good ones.

It's funny how things we see and learn about, shape our lives into what we are now. I'm glad I wasn't overly protected through life. I think it made me a stronger person today.

At least I can say I'm more than a tornado chasing, beer drinking, crime solving, biker chick. LOL!

IHG... I sometimes scare people at the intersection, if I'm rockin in concert! LOL!
I can't see the fun in wandering around a store "just to see what's there"! Believe it or not guys... there's a lot of girls out there who DON'T like to shop!
Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes is the most moving experience to me.

You should do a list. Share some of the real Stephanie with us!

And I have perfected "The Look".

b. b. #53-I thought you would think that's funny! I have a Carol or Lucy moment at least weekly if not more often!

dean... I can't think of any other song as powerful as that one.

I have to laugh about "the look"! I didn't realize how much my emotions show on my face when I'm pissed. But, obviously enough to scare somebody. LOL!
