PIC OF THE WEEK - CHILDREN'S HARBOR CHAPEL

Last weekend, when my friend and I were leaf peeping, we popped in at the Children's Harbor close to Kawliga Bridge on Lake Martin and took some pictures.

CHILDREN'S HARBOR CHAPEL

A lovely day for a wedding, don't ya think?

I have a lot more to share about this place, so I'll be sure and bring you back...  It's awesome!

Have a great week everybody!

Beautiful building and location. Is that a lake I see in the background?

That chapel makes such a pretty picture amongst the blue sky and trees. Very pretty indeed.

Definitely an eye catcher. And oh look, blue skies, I have almost forget what that looks like.

RichardM,

You do see a lake (Martin)in the background. The very same lake that was in the Pic of the Week last week. I have more excellent things to share about Children's Harbor and I hope to post about it in the near future.

We pass by it often, as it sits on one of our favorite routes while riding. It's a great place to hold weddings and other reunion type events.

Thanks for stopping by!

Trobaritz,

It was a very pretty day and the temps were perfect!

It was a nice memory to make with my best friend.

SonjaM,

We've been very blessed with lots of blue skies lately. I keep waiting for the gloom of winter to set in, but so far it's been chilly but beautiful!

Love old chuches. They do seem to have a warmth about them. We had a beautiful day yesterday sun was out and yes a good time a year for a wedding. 30 yrs yesterday.

Webster,

Me too. In fact, I would like to write a post about all the quaint and cozy churches that dapples our southern landscapes.

Happy Anniversary! I wish you and your wife many more years of wedded bliss. Don't worry... I've been married for 32 years and I know it's not always bliss... but Congratulations all the same!! :)

Dear Lady R:

Great pictures of a country church. But I get married every seven years, whether I want to or not. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Fondest regards,

Dear Jack,

Good to hear from you! Are you dried out yet?

I'm hoping the fact that you left a comment here, means you're back up with utilities at least.

Let me know if it's time for another wedding. I could be your planner! lol!

Glad your still able to make me laugh, and I hope all is well with you.
