PIC OF THE WEEK - MIND BOGGLING PHOTO MANIPUTLATIONS

I'm still in Iowa, and yesterday I had the privilege of meeting a couple of long standing blogger friends. The Iowa Harley Girl, Stephanie, and Dean, author of Musings of a Contemplative Biker came to Dubuque to join me and my family for the celebration of my mom's 70th birthday. It was an awesome day and I can't wait to share with you. However, I'm not able to download my pictures here until I return home, so in the meantime, I will post some amazing photos that I have acquired through email.

How's this for some great road shots!

Mind-Boggling Photo Manipulations... by Erik Johansson

Erik J is a 21 year old Swedish photographer....pretty amazing stuff, dont'cha think?

I'm going to miss this nice weather I've had the pleasure of relishing in as I leave today and head back to the furnace I call home. Hopefully, I won't encounter any extreme drop offs or have to avoid any flying people! Have a great week everybody!

Happy Birthday to your Mom.
You got to meet IHG and Dean, bet that was a good time.

Those photo's are great, and hit the happy happy grin and the da-whut-huh spot in the old pea brain.

Dear Lady Ridesalot:

The third picture is a not a manipulation nor trick of PhotoShop. It is an actually road down by Grandfather Mountain, in North Carolina. I rode on it.

Fondest regards,

You can tell that Mr Riepe that if the third picture is really in North Caroline, then the two women in the second pictures are my sisters! Great pictures and Happy Birthday to your Mom.

Mq01... hopefully, I'll get to it soon. I've got some catching up to do!

Wooley... I was happy to finally meet IHG and Dean. We've all known each other (through our blogs) for 4 years now, and this was the first opportunity for us to come together and meet. Mom's big bash at the park was a perfect venue to get together.

Webster... ;D

Dear Mr. Riepe...

Perhaps the DOT thought this would be a good way to stack 'em up during rush hour traffic.
I've avoided potholes large enough to engulf the Glide, so a drop off of this magnitude would create a good dose of "shite" in my britches I'm afraid.

Not your Mary Poppins,
Lady R

Mr. M... There were several more very creative manipulations, but these three were road related. He has quite a talent and his work is very... well, "mind boggling"! lol!

Gary... Thank you for the birthday wishes for mom. It was a great day for her and she loved my blogger pals too. In fact... they are my newest siblings, as she has since adopted them as her own! lol! Lucky me! Hahahahahahaha!

Lady R - The privilege was all mine.
Both you ladies were awesome to hang with and your family welcomed me in as one of their own. Looking forward to the next family get together!

Dean... It certainly was great to see you, Karen and Stephanie... in person! I hope we can get together again during Christmas. Be ready... I'm sure Mom will have the Jagermeister on ice... or in the snow!! :)
