PIC OF THE WEEK - TALLADEGA MOUNTAIN SKYWAY

Harley's still healing and hasn't been able to ride, but that's not stopping us! If you can't do it on two... lets try 4... X4 that is!

We were going stir crazy, so we loaded up the puppies and headed for Talladega National Forest. We decided to explore on the Talladega Mountain Skyway that runs along the top of Talladega Mountain.

TALLADEGA MOUNTAIN SKYWAY
It's really nothing more than a fire road, and we came across a few ruts that would have been a bit too challenging on a Glide, but the rewards when you get to the top... speak for themselves.

I love standing by a creek and listening to the sounds of nature. The trickling water, birds chirping, and the occasional buzz of a bee flying past... ahhhhh.

We had so much fun toodling around in the woods... we just may have to do this again!

Have a great week everybody.

There is so much peace standing in the middle of nature. There sure is.

You've got to get out somehow. I prefer the bike, but sure don't mind more wheels if it's all i can get.

Webster... it puts a smile on my face... every time!

Brady... I agree! Two is better than four, but when your world is still spinning... four is better than none. lol!

Freebird... your welcome!

KT... thanks my friend. It's been a long road, but we are making it.

Dear Lady Ridesalot:

There are times, like when the amenities of life make a day special, or when the logistics insist on a bigger machine, when four wheels is still much better than staying at home.

Jack... "four wheels is much better than staying at home"... couldn't agree with you more! 4 wheeling is fun! Maybe not as much fun as riding a motorcycle, but still fun. :)
