PIC OF THE WEEK - BILL NICHOLLS SCENIC HIGHWAY

BILL NICHOLLS SCENIC HIGHWAY
Harley and I like to ride our Glides up to Sylacauga to visit with his mom, so we find ourselves cruising along the Bill Nicholls (Hwy. 148) scenic highway often. Some of you may recognize this spot... I've posted Spring pics of this very same curve. It's a nice little drive with some great views from time to time as you travel through the southern edge of the Talladega National Forest. We were standing here, taking a break this past Saturday around noon, when all of a sudden, the peaceful quiet of the autumn country side was gone and it sounded like all hell was breaking loose.

Harley just stood there and said... "Holy cow!"
You never know what may come around the bend... come back tomorrow, and you'll find out!!

TO BE CONTINUED...

Have a nice day!

Lady R:

don't you just love those "hanging" endings, wondering what was coming next ?

It was probably a '32 Rod with 502 engine and wide open headers, or a Hemi-Cuda

bob
Wet Coast Scootin

It was a butt load of wild turkeys. You got the hatchet out, had your way with one of them, strapped him to your rear fender, and now he’s in the fridge waiting.

Freebird... Thanks!

Irondad... hmmmm... maybe. But, probably not. ;}

Chessie... like a bad penny! lol! Thanks!

Bobskoot... Mmmmm... no. But we did see a Chevy truck, jacked up with LOUD pipes. I swear he was louder than 6 Harleys!

Willy D... Are you kidding? Bates turkey farm is only about 15 minutes south of me. Nice plump, fattened up lazy birds.(don't have to chase them!) How many you want??

SonjaM... Makes me think of burning leaves when I look at them.
