HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

My mom reads my blog, so this is for her...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM!

** Thanks for healing my wounds and keeping my face clean with your powerful antibacterial spit. (my mom could lick a thumb and have it swiped over my dirty face in a flash.. and Neopsorin didn't have shit on mom spit!)

** Thanks for always having cookies and cakes and other mouthwatering delights on the kitchen counter everyday after school. Betty Crocker only wished she could bake as good as my mom! (BTW... the producers of "The Biggest Loser" want to talk to you.)

** Thanks for making our home a clean and loving safe place. (I'm just sorry we never wanted to stay home in it... but thanks just the same!)

** Thanks for being my chauffeur, but... that's one job I was glad to relieve you of. (keys... please!)

**Thanks for coming to Orlando to watch me graduate from Boot Camp. (I will never forget that!)

** Thanks for loving my husband like he was one of your own. (And yes mom... even after all these years, he's still my big teddy bear!)

** Thanks for being there with me... emotionally and spiritually when I was trying so hard to become a mom myself. (We sure tried... didn't we?)

** Thanks for all the other sacrifices and heartaches I know you suffered over the years for me. I know there were many, even though you would never admit it.

But most of all...

** Thanks for being my friend! (something not all mother's and daughter's can boast about, but I'm very proud that we can!)

I wish we could laugh over lunch and go shopping at Kirkland's. (I'll never forget finding your bear!) I wish we could play our version of "Name That Tune" again using You Tube. I wish I could sit on your steps with you and talk while you take your "break".

I wish I could be with you today... so I can remind you of all the reasons why your so special to me. I know you'll understand, but that's just another fine example of your unconditional love I relish in.

I love you Mom... Thanks for everything!!

Your favorite daughter...

Happy Mothers Day Lady R’s mom! You’ve got a great daughter there.

Lady R: You’ve got me nervous. Your mom reads this? Now I have to go back and double check every comment I’ve put on your blog before she thinks I’m some kind of whacko.

You brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad you share such a bond with your mother, you're right, not everyone has that.

Willy... no worries here friend. I keep teasing her that, one of these days I'm going to write about one of her crazy adventures. She tells me I better not! Those days are long past! LOL!

Steph... Thanks! I think she's a pretty cool Momma too!

B.B. I just wish I could spend more time with her. I hate being so far away!
