INCOMING... HANDGRENADES AND MOONSHINE!!

Emerald Coast Bike Fest 2009 - No party can be complete without it's arsenal of refreshments, right? Well, our group of rally goers are no different. Thanks to Darlin' and our other pal Dallas, we were running for cover (or running for more) all weekend.

Darlin' provided our group with a famous Bourbon Street drink called the Hand Grenade. This tropical drink reminds me of Gatorade... with a kick! In fact, this is a perfect party drink to pull together when you want to serve many folks at one time.

The Hand Grenade mix is trademarked and can only be bought online at tropicalisles.com. The recipe is pretty simple and can be mixed up right on the spot.

Start out with a clean 5 gallon bucket, then add the following:
1 gallon of Handgrenade mix
3 gallons of water
3 liters of Everclear (woo hoo!)

Stir and serve over ice. Then... it's hammer time!!
Just look at that smile as she pours in the key ingredient. She gave us fair warning before we drank... "This will f*#ker you up!" Woo Hoo! Thanks Darlin'!

Our other pal Dallas brought some Peach Moonshine that was out of this world. I was hesitant to try it at first, but when I did... mmmm. It went down as smooth as peach juice. There's something nice about having a pop of moonshine every now and then throughout the day and night that keeps the party rolling. But if your not careful, it will make you dress funny. Dallas told us he was just trying to start a new fashion trend. Love them legs! Woo Hoo!

I just wanted to set the tone and put ya'll in the mood before I post more of the rally. Maybe you should all get a drink before the next post comes up! LOL!

Everybody loves a good party, and I'm no different. The thing to remember... just be responsible, and DON'T DRINK AND RIDE OR DRIVE!!

Other than that... let's party on dudes!

More rally fun to come. Stay tuned.

Funny that some of the best bike rides take place when the bike never moves. Sounds like this was one of those occasions.

Sounds yummy, I may have to mix me some up!

Alright, alright. Enough is enough!

I'm on it. Better get that next post up before I recover. Give some warning so we can be properly "prepared" for the next one.

I'll get started right now!

Everclear? Isn't that one of those oxymorons?

I've always wanted to try a belt of moonshine! Something else to add to the bucket list.

I had to blow up Dallas' picture to make sure I wasn't seeing what I thought I saw, but I wasn't. They were boots, not brown socks. Phew!

Torch... Your welcome. They are VERY good. Yummy!

AZ Dude... LOL! That's the nice thing about a rally. I enjoy my nice ride getting there and coming home. Partying in between the two rides is pure bonus!! Sometimes we may ride in the daytime, but for the most part, we keep our fun to the rally grounds... everybody's safer that way. Golf carts are great for moving a bunch of drunks around. LOL!

Dean... What... me tease?? NEVER!! ;)
Trust me... if I could let you have a swig of that peach moonshine you'd be thinkin'... DAMN! that's some "good stuff"!

Masterchief... head East young man! If you see a lady rider with a shit eatin' grin on her face... you've found me.

B.B... This drink is very yummy! Even all our big beer drinkers kept coming back for more Hand Grenades. You won't be disappointed.

BTW... You can order the mix in smaller quantities. Darlin' had to get the industrial size for our group! LOL!

Dave... Everclear... too much of that and you'll neverbeclear again!
How's this Dave, for my post disclaimer... "Due to the content of this post, alcohol must be consumed in large quantities. Read at your own risk!" LOL!

Joker... You've never had a shot of moonshine? Brother! I wish I could share some of what we had. It was sooo smooth and absolutely delicious!

You make me chuckle about Dallas, thinking he had brown socks on. The funny thing about that is... if you REALLY knew him... and he DID have on brown socks... You'd be saying, "nice socks, bro!" LOL! Let's just say... we don't have to worry about anybody messing with us when Dallas is near. ;)

Willy D... LOL! You ain't seen tuff yet. Wait till we start drinking out of each others boots! LOL! (ewww. well, maybe not)

I'm not really that tuff... just "seasoned".

mq01... It was smooth as peach juice in a baby bottle. Best moonshine I've ever had, and I've had plenty.

Gottas try some . Sounds like a good hammer time it was. A hand grenade moonshine...gotta try some

Baron... the moonshine was peach flavor. The Hand Grenades tasted just like Gatorade. It made a few of us smile funny! LOL! The problem with drinking Everclear... you don't realize it just kicked your ass until it's too late! :}~~~~

Believe it or not, I've never got my hand on everclear. Just Bacardi 151.

If you can spit fire with it, You should not consume it!

Mr. M... Hmmm. Sure is smooth though!
