PIC OF THE WEEK

SUNDAY RIDE
Sunday was a beautiful day to ride! I figured it was no coincidence that I caught this rider coming up the street while I was snapping a pic of the pretty Spring Azaleas. The weather was perfect and there were plenty of riders to wave to. This is a street I travel on every day, and it has been a real treat watching the transformation come to life. Ride on!

Hope you all had a nice weekend and have an even nicer Monday.

Beautiful! I guess all that rain paid off!

Have yourself a nice Monday, LadyR!

Great shot. Seeing it and then looking out the window at snow and ice is depressing!
Oh well, spring will come eventually.

Boy does that look sweet! I won't be seeing that for another month or so, but that's ok. NOT seeing any more damned snow is good enough for me.

Awww...that pic just says "Spring"

Nice. I have been dying to see some green leaves and blossoms! Everything is still dormanat here. Thanks for the pick-me-up.

The only way we know Spring arrived is the calendar page. Will Winter never let go? I'm happy for you, I really am. Grumble, grumble, grumble.

Spring has me sproinged! I think I'm in heat because those trees...with that fragrance, those colors, arrrggggg...I'm gonna go out and hum....er, hug a tree!

What a beautiful picture...it made me smile! :)

Ann... I guess I won't complain of the rain, well maybe not much. LOL!

Canajun... Use this as inspiration that Spring is coming, cause it's definitely here, and coming to a town near you! :)

Joker... This street is one I take everyday to get out of my neighborhood (well, one of them anyway). We have color popping out everywhere and it's so cool. Just had to let ya'll know what's coming your way in just a matter of days now! ;)

B.B... I thought so too. That's why I liked it. Thanks to my "rider subject" who just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Dean... 7 more days... and counting!

Masterchief... Your welcome you hairy thing you. Just don't eat the Daisys. LOL!

Irondad... I'm sorry your still in the remnants of winter, but look at it this way. At least where you live, you can teach your classes in the middle of summer without getting fried like bacon on the pavement. Not a bad trade off. Look for the silver lining in every cloud... and you'll see things a little clearer.

And stop all that grumbling, folks will think it's thundering outside. LOL! ;)

Dave... I thought of you last weekend when we stopped for gas. (LOL, let me explain) I was checking my sunglasses and they were green! All I could think of was your swarm of bees coming after me to pollinate my Glide. Now I was in danger of them screwing my eyes out too! Good grief! What's a rider to do?

Baron... Thank you, I think so. This be the "hood". I have a slide show I may post of other such pics. I live in an older, but very pretty neighborhood, and Spring is the prettiest time.

Steph... Thanks girl. I need a favor. I am hungry for a pretty pic of a big cornfield. Maybe you can post one for me sometime when you get out and about on two. It may take till August to get a great shot, but I'm missing my cornfields. A pig farm could be thrown in just for fun. LOL! JK!

I'll be home (Iowa) this June, and we are thinking of riding our Glides up there. I can't wait. Plans may change, but we will see.

Thanks. It is a month or so away here but it's coming. I loved spring time when I was in Ga. The south is awesome that time of year.

Webster... Not only is it awesome, it comes so early! Woo Hoo!

Jeepers creepers...where did you get them peepers...honey glazed LadyR...grrrr. LOL! It's spring so cut me some slack here Harley

That looks like a Police bike. Probably wants to talk with you about your politics ;)

It's is snowing outside my window as I read this post...........Sigh. What I would give to ride down an Azalea lined street right about now.

We'll begin to get some spring color around here by the end of next month or so, that is if the snow would quit! Right now it is still a lot of brown and white.

Dave... Mmmmmm. Honey glazed... Harley likes honey. Hmmmmm.

Willy D... Nope, no fairing. It was a Soft Tail. Nice cherry color, and another smiling rider, but no police. Whew, safe again!

The funny thing is, right below the curve of this street, out of site, it the home of a motorcycle cop. I have stopped and talked to him a couple times, and he waves at Harley and I went we ride past. It seems like he's always washing his BMW Police bike on Saturday mornings when we take off on a ride. Poor sap.

Earl... Sorry to hear that! I love the way new fallen snow looks, but I guess, by the end of March, it's getting less and less attractive. I saw the blizzard conditions our northern states are still dealing with on the news yesterday. That sucks! I can't tell you how nice it is to finally ride without dressing in so many layers.

Your day is coming, and I'll look forward to reading about your first Spring ride! Woo Hoo!

Big Al... We can be happy for now, but when our northern brothers and sisters are enjoying their 70 and 80 degree days, we'll be frying in the 90's plus!

That's okay with me though. We have a pool that cools us off, good and proper, after a nice, long hot ride on a sunny summer day.

I'll take the heat as a trade off for being able to ride during October through March, when everybody else is snowed in! Wouldn't you? :)

Really enjoying the spring here in PC-not in any hurry for the humidity! Know that won't be far off so every time I'm outside for anything it makes me smile! Can't wait for our weekend of play-oot for me & Mary in the MB. Will talk to you sometime this week so we can make some plans! EM

Nice pic!
I'm looking at it as the snow is falling on one side of the street and sunshine on the other side!
March in Idaho :)

By the end of April we might start seeing signs of warmer, sunnier days.

Glad you were able to take in some Spring-time weather.

EM... Can't wait to see you and M. I'm hoping the weather's nice so you two can ride up with the top off. As far as us having a good time? Hmmm, I can't wait to see what kind of mischief we can get into! Sometimes gurlz need to let off a little steam, heh? (snicker, snicker!) Maybe Harley should stay here in case WE need bail money. LOL! See ya later friend!

MHL... With Spring being in full bloom around here, I'm hoping the warmth and sunshine migrate to the north soon. Blogging about my rides, while some brothers and sisters are still dealing with winter leftovers, makes me feel like I'm the only one on the playground! Hang in there!

Lady R-got the disappointing news that we're going to have to use my
vehicle! Us with our tops down??? I never...opps maybe I have-my memory is just slightly cloudy-wonder why. Yes the steam is building but we need Harley to let some off too! Talk with you soon EM

Lady R (Di) said...

EM... Hmmm. Cloudy memory, heh? I suppose that's your story and your sticking to it! LOL!

I'm sure we won't have any problems creating new memories to "be cloudy" about. Woo Hoo!
