PIC OF THE WEEK - CAMELIAS FOR MY VALENTINE

Camellias are blooming everywhere.  They're normally a winter bloomer for us in Alabama anyway, but Mother Nature has been on crack lately and we are getting daffodils and azaleas popping out too. (Crazy weather!)

With Valentine's Day being on Tuesday, I thought I would deliver to you, a closeup of this beautiful Crimson Camellia.

CRIMSON CAMELLIA

I hope you all have a great week, and... HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

BTW: I entered in another Writing Contest.  I'll post the link here on Wednesday when they open the voting, so you can vote for which one you think is the best. ~ Dianna

Gorgeous camellia. We have one in our yard and mean to buy more. It is a long way from blooming though.

Thanks for sharing.

ps: was thinking of you. Today was the day I had to endure the 3 ft needle, needed 3 fillings on two sides of my mouth. I was sweating buckets all weekend . . .

Mq01... Thanks for coming by! As my goofy bro would say... Happy VD!

Trobairitz... ours blooms every year around this time. I think it stands out so pretty against all the other dormant vegetation.

Bobskoot... You survived!! Did they give you a prize for being a good patient? ;)

I hope you and Mrs. Skoot have a lovely Valentines Day!

Lady Di:

My Dentist was sooo gentle, hardly felt anything at all. You must see this all the time. I was clenching the armrests with white knuckles.

We now need a full report on your Valentine's activities

They are so pretty and hardy too. My Jasmine on the hill is blooming also, but quite early. Usually blooms in March/April. Funny weather....

Dear Mr. Bobskoot,

Valentine's Day was very average. We both went to work, had a nice lunch together, and came home and had homemade chicken soup for dinner and watched our favorite shows on the DVR. Love was in the air, but the romance went for a walk. lol!

Your friend,
Dianna

KT... Our Jasmine doesn't bloom until April or May here. I have a large one right outside my back door and I love the way it smells when I step outside. Hmmmmm...
