A TIME TO GRIEVE

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. John:14

R. I. P. PAPA JMy dad passed away yesterday morning at home, surrounded by his loving family. My brother and I were able to get home, and as we gathered around him during his last moments, he knew we were all there with him. He even looked into my mom's eyes and told her it was time for him to go, and he loved her.

I will miss my dad very much, but I find comfort and peace knowing he was not alone. I will be offline for awhile so I can be with my family during this very difficult time.

I feel for you, it wasn't all that long ago that I lost my parents and because they were far away I wasn't able to get there in time to say "Goodbye" or to tell them I loved them one last time. The pain does pass and loving memories remain.

Missing your Dad will never end...all your wonderful memories of him won't either. It's a strange balance of life when you think of it that way, but somehow it works.
I send all my hugs and prayers and blessings to you and your family. Take care.

I never know what to say to people at times of crisis. Not knowing someone personally does not make it any easier knowing what they are going through. Pain from loss and mourning is universal and one of the few things thant unites the world over. Please take all the time needed and we will wait patiently for your return. All the best to you and your family from Spokane WA.
